Boulevardul Unirii

 I have been in Bucuresti for the fist time in August 2008. That was my 4th one month's summer trip in Romania and I started to feel confident with the people and easy with the language. I found a fairly cheap hotel (100 lei) in the area of Boulevardul Unirii. (prices may go up to more than € 100.00 a night in Bucharest).

 I had the information that girls were hanging in Bd Unirii. I made a first trip there and could see a couple of girls about 30 years old, not wonderfull, let's say 6. Boulevardul Unirii is a very long avenue that was once designed to be longer than the Champs Elysées in France. I ain't chauvinist and I must reckon the result is really good with areas of gardens around the central boulevard and lanes and park places between the gardens and the buildings. This makes a perfect open space for street action.

 

Nevertheless, I was disappointed, I had seen not more than 5 girls in one evening. They were hanging in the first kilometer close to the Pia?a Alba Iulia. I eventually decided to go with a sweetheart called Valentina. Gara Nord

I found street action right across Gara de Nord last summer. Customers would not find hookers but hookers caught customers. This is a fairly small square garden in which action will becommemore intense after evening twilight. Nevertheless, I didi not see more than 5 hookers when I was there and I prefered to return to Boulevard Unirii, where I knew somebody allthough the service was subject to critics.

 I was proposed 50 lei for sex but a very undefined way about the place it was supposed to take place. Girls were gipsies, and looked pretty since they were young and probably too young : just eighteen or maybe less. They say that was for "normal" sex only and not for oral.

 Another hooker in her thirties, not so pretty proposed me to go and stay one hour in her appartment (for the same price if I am not mistaken). I neither enjoyed her look nor trust her. I prefered to go back and see Valentina on the boullaevard Unirii.


Other opportunities in Bucharest

I also checked a few garden parks all around the dowtown of Bucharest. In a few small cities of Transylvania, parks were ideal places for non professional hookers to hang at night. I saw nobody except a few private guards. It seems that the people of Bucarest do not accept hookers and above all, they are not accepted in areas close to Governmental Palaces which are worth the visit by the way. The only exception is in Boulevard Unirii. 

 On boulevard Unirii, in the morning, young people were distributing small advertisement for a Thaï massage parlor in Bucharest. I made a copy of the card but did no trust this would bring me to an interesting business. Back to France, I leaned more about the prices of the service : 150 lei for a massage and a handjob : same as in Paris ! (Anyway, if the guy who wrote this had been to this business, the business can only be for loosers : not interesting.  )
  The main interest of the information is that I found a clue that hidden prostitution or discrete private business is also developping in Bucharest.



I did not stay long in Bucharest, so I have not checked so many places. 

 Discotheques used to be places where pretty girls used to go and hang and try to catch Western visitors for prices between 100 and 200 €?ll?e end of the night. I was told this would be no longer the case due police repressionI cannot confirm the information allthough I quite believe that many professional hookers moved to Spain to work a professional way.

  I did not check places like casinos (shops with electronic money games). I had waisted my time on my first night in Romania in 2005 looking for somebody who was supposed to bring contacts with good fucking girls in Oradea and was known as the boss of such a place. Nevertheless, I read information that you can find non professional girls not too far from casinos to try to catch a business with a monger with money.

2009

Once in Bucharest I realized I had forgotten to write down a few adresses to check found on the net. It becomes more and more difficult to find an Internet café or to park one's car so I just checked the areas I knew.

Boulevardul Unirii

The boulevardul Unirii was empty. It seems that the police efficiently cleaned the area.


Gara Nord

Gipsy girls at gara Bucureşti Nord were no longer there. When going back to my car, I saw a blond looking for men. She was a Moldovan (Chisinau) young woman, who offered me to go and stay one hour in her appartment for 50 lei. Walking with her, she explained me she had fled her country with her family and needed money. I had the feeling she had come to the place after somebody called her up he had seen a monger checking for hookers. Once in the appartment, I realized she was with 3 (fairly old) children and she wanted to have sex in a room withou lock on the door. As she asked for 200 lei, I just went away.


Centură

I eventually found slutty girls out of Bucharest. Action takes place on a so-called road Centură north of the motorway going to Constanţa. 40 lei for a cobered BJ, 50 lei for a BBBJ and 60 lei for an intercourse. In day time, hookers are young but not really beautifull.

Further north, I found older hookers at night. They looked like models at first sight with short skirts on thin bodies in the lights of my car, but they turned up to be junk girls : 30-35 years old whith a face of a 50 years old woman (alcohol, drugs ? ).

I stopped mongering. Thanks heaven, I found so many places to visit in Bucharest.
