The plain, south of the Carpatian is fairly poor to find hookers. This is the place where economic development lead to a process that makes people less tolerant with easy money, except maybe the area of the Black Sea cost. I found a few intersting informations allthough the area is poor now. But everything can change.

Râmnicu Vâlcea

I found this small city on my first trip in Romania. Looking for an hotel at a reasonnable price, I was sent by the receptionist ofa big hotel to a subsidiary uphill. Then I was free to look for action and business. I found a small advertisement at the reception of my hotel for a sexy club.

I first tried contacts with taxi drivers, casino bars or roads around the city but found nothing. The people of this quiet city were not used to foreigners coming looking for adventures. They just stayed quiet taking care of their business. 

 In the evening, I paid a visit to the Club 69. That was a club in a big room close to the church. The disco was empty, and gave a strange feeling with the large dancing floor, sofas in red leather and private spaces that could be isolated with curtains. After a first drink, I tried a direct negociation with the boss/ He was sorry but all the dancers had left to go and work in Spain. He couldnot let the only one go out. I asked if that was possible to go out with the waitress, but the waitress had no skill for sex with clients. 

 So I decided to move to the other club. That was my first experience asking my way in Romanian. I eventualy found a big house outside the city. In the hall a young barman was waiting for customers, then the next room was a big dancing floor with sofas and tables all around. 6 girls were sitting in a sofa waiting for customers who would never come. The only one speaking English came to me but I didnot enjoy her : mat complexion with blond tainted hair and moreover she was from Bucharest (I had been ripped off a few weeks before by a girl from Bucharest). I asked the barman if one of the girls came from Moldova: a tall dark haired girl with greeneyes came and I negociated her coming out with me. All in all, bar fineand money for the girl costed 500 lei. This used to be illegal, but the police would let this kind of business take place since they would receive their share in pay-offs.
The girl had a daughter, was 29 years old and used to do what mothers without a father for their kid used to do in such a situation in the early 2000's : go far from her city and wait for customers stupidly sitting in a sofa in such a club. She was starting having fat on her legs doing nothing. She first stared waisted time requesting for food, drink and shower, but I had nothing in my fridge and she did not look like a hungry person. No matter her tricks, I had about 2 hours of classical sex by somebody who knew howto practice it but did not want to show how talentedshe could be. Then she slept and I had to shake her strongly to bring her back to the bar by 5 AM as bargained with the barman.


2008

I went back to the city in 2008. I saw once again this provincial type quiet city where nothing happens. Despite the Club 69 had been esasy to find 3 years before, I could not find the place where it had been. The premises are now used for a furniture shop. I tried the other club and found the place more easily allthough this is no longer outside the city. The building is now used for a pension. The bar is now the office of a lady in her 30s managing the business. I checked the room with the dance floor : it was full of tables since tehy were waiting for a big family celebrating a wedding. That was so amazing to see these tables set ready for a normal family celebration in a place where girls used to dance trying to convince customers to go up to the rooms for sex. I even wondered if the lady in charge of the pension was not a former dancer.


 All this story to inform mongers : Romania is no longer a country of whorehouses. The last ones were closed in 2006.

Buzău 

2005

This is the city where I had my first interesting experience mongering. As I was passing along a military casern on a boulevard driving south towards the road of Bucharest, I saw a few pretty women hanging across the boulevard close to a Russian cemetery. I came closer and talked to the prettiest one, in this case a gipsy girl with suh a black skin, that seemed to have come from India one week before. I cautiously approached her asking my way in Romanian. She explained patiently then asked what else I wanted, but I was unable to explain her. So she just asked me sex ?

 She requested 30 lei (about € 10.00). We rode out of the city then turned on an unpaved road in an openfield one more kilometre. Nothing was hiding us but the space. We made our business in the car. I found only one girl in the wood near the bridge and the intersection of the road to Bucharest and the circular route. She was the one who blew me in 2006. I paid her 15 lei the first time then 20 lei one week later (She had increased prices due problems of change. 15 & 20 lei : about € 4.50 and € 6.00). That was fairly fast but a good service given by a smiley girl, fresh but not pretty.

I checked again and again but saw no girl hanging around. Then I looked for another place with any action but found nothing. The stupid night club was closed of course. I just thought that was not so bad as the day I had realized that Angela was no longer in Buzau.

On the road going to Slobozia, about 20 kilometres away from Buzau, 2 girls were hanging on a park place far from the nearest town.

Hookers wait for customers on a road circumnavigating the city northside, not far from the airport. One vanished with a customer. The only one who looked all right offered me a price of 40 lei. (When coming close I found her not so all right: she was thin but looked like a girl who became old rapidly burning her face under the sun waiting for customers.

 

Hidden escorts

I decided to test a trick given by taxi driver in Constanţa to look for hidden escorts . I went to a kiosk in the street and purchased a local newspaper with small adds. The newspaper to get in Craiova is called "Gazeta de Sud" . I managed to find a list of about 20 people and called 10 of them. I had no answer. It seems that these are young ladiesworking in daytime. I did not check again in the evening.

Campina

2009

I had been warnt by Filochard that girls were hanging on this road. The action actually takes place in the area of Campina. I first saw a 35 years old hooker, then a couple of young ones and eventually the last 2 girls around 25 years old.

Prices are 30 lei for a blowjob with condom (€ 7.50), 50 lei for sex (€ 12.50) and 80 lei for a "combinat" (BJ + sex). Action woud take place in the area between the road and the river, in view of the road.

Piteşti

Why did I target Piteşti whereas I knew hookers had been away from street action for a long time ? I was resolute to check about hookers you can contact through small adds in the newspaper. I purchased O Curierul (if I remember well) and checked in the small adds under the tittle Matrimonial. The newspaper gave something like 20 contacts.

About one third would not answer the phone and I must reckon it's been fairly a painfull experience when a few hookers became unpleasant with me due poor Romanian speaking. A few other ones wanted me to ask a taxi driver to reach their hotel and witness in case of problem.

I eventually found a nice English speaking girl but I had a mechanical trouble before reaching her hotel so I had to postpone my operation till the next day.
Most of the girls who answered the phone asked me to meet them in Hotel Montecarlo. It's been such a real pain in the ass to find where it was that I asked somebody to show me the way and I followed his car to Strada Libertaţii, a large street across social housing buildings with the hotel not far from the dead-end. (It is so complex that I am not sure of the exact position on Google maps).

I negociated 150 lei ( € 36) for one hour with a girl I had not seen. She was 30 years old, thin, but neither beautifull nor ugly. She did everything correctly but was not enthusiastic at all and had a strong smell of tobacco on her body. Above all, she seemed to be a girl with strong worries who wasnot abble to hise this.

I will try again in Piteşti, but I'll take more time and will try to be better organized.

Tulcea

Very surprisingly, I did not expect to find street action in this city which I know fairly well. The only night club remaining in stada Isaacei is opened to teen agers to stay and spend time together.

Street action takes place in the evening in a public garden in front of hotel Delta . I first saw a girl who was obviously trying to talk with lonely gents then another hooker. The girl was a thin 22 years old blond, well dressed and speaking sweetly. She said in Romanian something like "good evening, I am here to help you, if you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask me".

We went to a cheap pension and agreed to stay one hour for 60 lei. Once I paid her, she refused to have a shower, and I started fearing she could go away while I would have mine alone. As she undressed, I could see that her thin body was not so beautifull with a large scarf on her belly (as if she had been the victim of an assault with a knife) She was very shy in sex : not such a good BJ, no kiss and she was not kinky at all. She also tried to tell me the classical story that she had a young child and needed money to feed him.

I went back to the garden on the next day. I first talked with her and told her that I had been disappointed so that I did not want to go back with her. Another girl came.
